Roy Courtnall is an experienced luthier, author, and lecturer in musical instrument technology. He has been involved in violin making and guitarmaking for many years. He offers a range of products to help the new and experienced violin maker and guitar maker, as well as some items of interest to all musical instrument makers and luthiers; Violin Plans; Instruction Books on Violin Making and Guitar Making; and Hiscox Cases for most kinds of musical instruments.

Roy's published books include: The Art of Violin Making, (which he co-wrote with violin-maker Chris Johnson), and which has a Foreword written by the late Yehudi Menuhin ; and Making Master Guitars, which is a complete reference for the guitar maker.
